Salsa, bomba yubá, plena, R&B, reggaetón, trap, and pop fuse together to create a bold new sound she calls TropiSoul. As a woman creating within a traditionally male-dominated genre, Natalis is using VIVA to create more space for women to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

Born from profound loss and the decision to choose life, VIVA is an eight-song celebration of life, identity, queer expression, and disability pride. Years after losing her father, grandmother, and grandfather back to back, Natalis returned to the grief she'd buried for years while navigating her own autoimmune health challenges. What emerged was not sorrow, but gratitude and a celebration of life.

"TRIPLE AMENAZA"

Blurring the lines between salsa, sexuality, and traditional gender roles, "Triple Amenaza" is a playful, provocative celebration of freedom, chemistry, and unapologetic expression. Featuring Puerto Rican artists Carlos Nevárez and Babywine, each a triple threat in their own right, Natalis brings them together to vibe over Salsa fused with trap. Queer, playful, and unapologetically sensual, Triple Amenaza flips the traditional script and lets attraction take the lead.

"HASTA EN LA LUNA"

"Hasta en la Luna" is more than a song, it's a place for everyone who has ever felt “ni de aquí, ni de allá”—far from home, yet carrying the customs, memories, and love for their culture wherever they go. Written at RAMPD’s inaugural accessible virtual Songwriting Camp, the song brings contemporary dembow and trap together with Puerto Rican folkloric music rooted in bomba yubá. The result is an electrifying global performance that carries Puerto Rican roots into a contemporary global soundscape.

MEET THE TEAM

Bobby Allende

A New York-born percussionist and salsa mainstay, Bobby Allende has served as musical director for Marc Anthony and Tito Nieves and recorded with Rubén Blades and Willie Colón across four decades in the genre. He co-produced VIVA, bringing salsa's golden-era lineage into direct conversation with Natalis's modern TropiSoul sound.

Adán Perez

Adán Pérez has built a reputation in New York's salsa scene arranging and producing for acts like David Millán & Amistad and La Banda Ramirez. He co-produced VIVA, and the majority of the album's percussion and brass were recorded at his Allertone Studios, grounding the project in the same Bronx studio culture that's shaped salsa records for decades.

Willy the Producer

Pianist for the acclaimed salsa dura band La Excelencia, Willy Rodríguez is also a musical director, producer, and CEO of The Valens Agency, as well as co-founder of the International Salsa Museum. He co-produced VIVA, bringing that same salsa dura foundation into the album's sound.

DIZZI

A Colombian producer, arranger, and mixing engineer based in Bucaramanga, DIZZI has built a career specializing in Latin urban and Latin tropical production. He served as arranger and co-producer on VIVA, bringing that same cross-genre fluency to the album's fusion of salsa with trap, dembow, and bomba.
